Preston’s Got Soul: An Evening of Northern Soul & Motown Preston Guild and Wigan Casino Anniversary Special

Northern soul legend Dean Parrish flies in from the USA to sing live at the first of his two rare UK gigs. The first (the only one in the north west) being at 53 Degrees, Preston in line with the anniversary of the Wigan Casino and the Preston Guild. Dean famous for the Wigan Casino “3 before 8” track “I’m on my way” is said to be delighted at performing again in the north west, for what will be a special time for the people of Preston and northern soul fans.

There will also be DJ sets from Wigan Casino and BBC Radio Lancashire supremo Russ Winstanley, The Monaco Club (Wigan) and Formby Halls Bob Taylor, Preston’s very own Derek “Smooth” Smith and the fantastic Wigan Young Souls.

The event will also be used to raise money for the children’s charity Brainwave that supports children with special needs and disabilities.
