Steve Royle
Winner of Entertainer of The Year in the Red Rose Awards and Best Comedy Show at Brighton Fringe Festival, regular headliner at The Comedy Store and common cohort, both on screen and at live shows, of Peter Kay, Steve Coogan and Dave Spikey.
Locals may also remember him as ‘Mad Edgar’, his hugely popular Camelot character put into retirement last year as his stand-up went ballistic. Good to have him back at Stand & Deliver, a real treat as opening night headliner.

Hal Cruttenden
"Simply hilarious" Time Out
"His patter went down a riot, whatever it takes, he's got." The Stage
"Furiously funny" The Scotsman
Another regular performer at Comedy Store and Jongleurs around the country, one of the top comedians in the country today writing for, or performing alongside, Rob Brydon, Omid Djalili, and Ardal O’Hanlon all in the last year.

Chris Martin
'Tight, well structured, funny and original' Chortle
'Solid stand up set, with attention to gags' Chortle
'He made matter-of-fact, dryly witty observations on life that never failed to hit the mark. He was my favourite of the night' BBC
one of the newest and most exciting acts to hit the comedy circuit. His wholly original social commentary, observations and anecdotes are his trade mark. He brings intelligent material as well as energy to any comedy room

Jim Smallman (MC)
A firm favourite at Stand & Deliver earning widespread praise for his sets as compere last year, sure to make you feel at home and get you set up for a great opening night of comedy.
"It's obvious that Jim Smallman is a natural-born compere. He could talk the hind legs off a donkey, but you suspect the donkey wouldn't really mind" Chortle
"Jim Smallman is quite simply funny . silly, sarcastic, audience-baiting humour" Times
"Anarchic and matey in equal measures, Smallman boasts a masterful rapport with the audience and clearly takes much delight in pushing the comedy boundaries . his manic energy was easily picked up by the punters" Telegraph
