Following the huge, packed-out success of last year's Xmas Funk & Soul show, Red Dwarf / Coronation Street legend Craig Charles returns to Preston's 53 Degrees to spin the very best in floor-filling funk and soul.

The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show began life on BBC 6Music, and has grown to become the channels biggest programme, cementing Craigs place as the stations longest-serving DJ. Specialising in classics from the 50s to 80s golden age of American and Northern Soul, Craig has also been taking the show out on the road for several years now, touring a night of diverse entertainment thats guaranteed to fill any dance floor!

After a sell-out show at Christmas, 53 Degrees is very pleased to announce that Craig Charles will be returning to the city to host one of his famous parties. And hes bringing a few friends along too Prestons newest funk sensation The Templebys kick things off with a refined combination of funk, soul and pop which has been compared to the Amy Winehouse backers The Dap Kings and has made The Templebys one of the most popular local acts. Guest DJing, meanwhile, local Decksmiths Paul Thornton and Chris Holt, will be showing why theyre Prestons finest and most eclectic DJ tag team.

Craig hits the stage in the headline spot, taking his flavoursome funk far into the night, and keeping crowds on their feet to the finish line, spinning much loved classics from the likes of Michael Jackson, Otis Redding, The Temptations, Al Green, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder and many more.
