FRESHERS PASS-FAQ's
HEEEEEEELLLLPP! My tickets haven't arrived in the post and I'm a donut because I've not read any of the informtion you have sent me.
We won't be sending anything out in the post. You will receive an e-mail with a booking reference number. This must be brought with you to the UCLAN Reception on Saturday 10th or Sunday 11th September between 11am and 6pm where it will be exchanged for a wristband.
I am not familiar with the University campus layout and I am not sure where the Students' Union reception is.
The Students' Union is on Fylde Road, and the SU Reception can be found on the ground floor.
What happens if I am not able to pick up my Freshers wristband from reception on either the 10th or 11th Sept?
Let us know in advance when you book your pass and we will make alternative arrangements for you.
What do I need to bring with me to collect my AMAZING Freshers wristband from Reception?
Your booking reference e-mail and something to prove you are a UCLan Student. This could be your letter of accaptance, Library Card or Accomodation details.
I am a 2nd / 3rd year UCLan student, am I able to buy a Freshers Pass to stalk the newbies?
Yes you will, however priority is to the new students.
Are all the events during Freshers week included in the pass?
All events are included in the pass, with the exception of Super Sunday, Dark-Cide is also offering a discounted entry for pass holders. We can guarantee you entry untill 11pm unless stated, after that point pass holders will be given priority subject to capacity.
I have no money because the fees are so high, do I get any discounts if I buy the Freshers Pass?
YES!!! Not only do you save on entry to events, we will also be doing VIP drinks / Discounts across the SU and also special discounts across Preston.
I only deal in hard cash is there anywhere I can buy a Pass tat will accept this form of payment?
You can buy passes from sellers and SU Reception on Accomodation weekend that is if they are not already sold out!! You can also pay by cheque made out to:

I ordered a Freshers Pass but have not received an email confrimation yet / deleted the email-What should I do?
Email: with your name and e-mail address used to make the booking.
I wish to cancel my Freshers order, is this possible?
Unfortunetly not, as it is in our Terms and Conditions that we do not offer refunds.
Someone else has ordered the tickets on mybehalf on their credit / debit card, can I pick them up, and do I need proof of I.D?
Yep. You will need to bring the booking reference, proof of I.D and proof of being a UCLan stuent as previously mentioned.
Where is 53 Degrees? I don't even know what it means?
53 Degrees is the massive shiny building plonked right next to UCLan SU, in the heart of the campus.
Is there disabled access in the venue?
Of course, Please e-mail if you need to make any specific arrangements.

Why should I buy a Freshers Pass?
Buying a Freshers Pass is the only way to guarantee you access to all the events happening at 53 Degreesover Freshers. Not only that, but it provides a saving of £100 over the fortnight not only across the SU, but city wide.
How much is a Freshers Pass?
The pass is available at an early bird discount of £35 plus booking fee. The price will increase to £39 from 1st September onwards.
Can I come to events without a Pass?
For certain events we will be selling a limited number ofadvanced tickets, and we may sell tickets on the door subject to capcity, but the only way to guarantee yourself a place at the party is to buy a Pass!!
Where do I collect my Pass?
You can collect your wristband fom the UCLan Students' Union Reception from11am-6pm on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th of September. You will need to bring the reference number and proof of I.D with you.
Where can I buy a Pass from?
Passes are avaiable from www.lancashiretickets.com / or by calling the booking hotline on weeays between 12pm and 4pm on

Open to over 18's only unless stated otherwise.
All external offers for the Pass are subject to change.
Once you have your wristband on you must keep it on for the whole fortnight. Any wristbands seen to be tampered with may be refused entry. Wristbands cannot be transferred and can be worn in the bath / shower, so don't take it off!!!
When collecting / buying your FRESHER'S PASS you will need I.D AND either your halls keys / NUS or University Card / Acceptanc letters, anything to prve you are a member of UCLan.
If you are purchasing in advance you will also need to bring your booking confirmation. This will be e-mailed to the e-mail address you give whn booking.
If you wish to bring a non-UCLan guest with you to any event, please buy a guest ticket from SU Reception and make sure that they bring their photo I.D to prove they are over 18 years of age.
Re-admission is not allowed once you have attended the event.
We are unale to offer refunds, please make sure you are able to attend an event when you purchaseyour tickets.
Non-fresher's CAN buy wristbands bt priority will be given to new students.
Demand for all events during the first two weeks of term is extreamly high, please note that entry to events is *only guaranteed beore 11pm* where applicable for night time events. After this time, you will be admitted if the venue capacity allows.
All effort will be made to create a seperate queue for Fresher's Wristband holders at big events to guarantee fast-track entry.
For certain events your wristband will entitle you to a discounted entry, rather than free entry. This is noted on the Events Listing Page.
You are still subject to the Students' Union evnt admission procedures and can be refused entry or ejected if you breach the Terms and Conditions. If you get ejected from the Students' Union, your Freshers wristband will become void. So, you know. ehave yourself!!
